These products include paper, sawmill products, forest-derived millwork products wood pulp, livestock feed & lumber. While the Forest products & paper are all taken from wood or woody plant matter, the purposes comprise wood's raw material of wood pulp, that is leverage in the manufacturing of paper, & wood as a finished structural material that used by the construction industry in the construction of buildings. Other products which are non-wood but still taken from forest resources, are called non-timber forest products. The waste mass that come from saw mills & other forest product industry facilities possess applications in power generation & biofuels/renewable fuels production. There are several resource pressures on timber-based forest products although non-timber forest products, medicinal herbs, edible fruits and nuts, fungi, & various other natural products are gathered in an economically, ecologically, & socially sustainable matter. Factors that lead to climate change such as deforestation & global warming among other environmental concerns have transformed the availability & sustainability of forest products. Preserving Forest Yields to Prevent Irreversible Damage to the EcosystemThe concept of sustainable forest focuses mainly on reversing the effect of the aforementioned environmental issues by preserving forest yields making sure that it does not result in irreversible damage to the ecosystem.
