The conventional farming practices are experiencing some challenges including small piece of arable land, water rationing, and climate change, and through these techniques of farming, there are solution for the improvement of food security and increased production of crops. Aeroponics is becoming popular for being resourceful and for yielding high production in a short time and a given space. These methods are especially suitable in urban areas where space is a limiting factor and there is increasing concern about healthy foods of high quality and short food miles. Due to the increasing awareness of such industries, the Indian government as well as private players are coming up with significant efforts to support the development of such industries.
