According to a statement from BHEL, the project's electro-mechanical (E&M) work order was won after a competitive international bid process."BHEL's scope under the contract envisages design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of the electro-mechanical package including Turbines, Generators, Digital Governing Systems, Static Excitation Systems, Transformers, Bus Reactors, Gas Insulated Switchgear, Outdoor Pot Yard & Switchyard Equipment and Electrical & Mechanical BoPs,".Design, engineering, production, supply, construction, and commissioning of the E&M package are all included in BHEL's scope of work under the contract. Major project components will be produced at BHEL plants in Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jhansi, and Rudrapur, while the company's power sector - eastern region division, based in Kolkata, will handle on-site execution activities. The Aditya Birla Group's metals division's main company, Hindalco Industries, and Ayana Renewable Power have reportedly inked a power purchase agreement. According to the agreement, Hindalco Industries' smelting operations in Odisha would receive 100 MW of round-the-clock (RTC) renewable electricity from Ayana Renewable Power.We have a firm commitment to guiding India's energy transition.
