The moon mission Chandrayaan-3 of India was supported by a number of components, according to Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The business claimed in a regulatory filing that parts including "middle segment and nozzle bucket flange" were produced at its Powai factory, while ground and flight umbilical plates were produced at the company's Coimbatore aerospace manufacturing site.
Executive Vice President and Head of L&T Defence AT Ramchandani stated: "The space sector is opening up for the Indian industry and we will leverage this long association with ISRO to play a bigger role in space programmes of the future." According to the manufacturer, all of these subsystems were supplied earlier than expected.
L&T added that it had produced a variety of gear for the ISRO's Chandrayaan-1, Chandrayaan-2, Gaganyaan, and Mangalyaan missions. Following the crash-landing of Chandrayaan-2 in September 2019 due to a software error, India's third lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3, is scheduled to launch at 2:35 PM on July 14. L&T is a $23 billion international corporation with operations in more than 50 countries that engages in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects.
